In certain lights or angles this piece appears as a blank page. I wasn't able to photograph it quite the way I wanted - the matte is off white with a turquoise second matte and the paper is Rives BFK which if you know it, is quite white. After the exhibition, this may be gifted to a friend who wants this carved on his gravestone!
When framed, the paper does lie flat but for photographing purposes I had to take it out from under the glass or there would be far too much glair.

Thanks Ceejay! I was concerned about all the shadow but just couldn't seem to get rid of it without completely losing the embossing!
This is fabulous! Now I want to break out my embossing tool!
